Of course, this is only a very small selection of what's out there. I haven't included any iPad apps that we find useful or some other sites that are very popular with homeschoolers, such as Teaching Textbooks, because we haven't used them, as yet - there's just too many good sites to list them all!

I hope you find something here to enjoy:)

Do you use the Internet as a resource for learning? I wonder what are your favourite sites?

Hi Vicky,

Did you ever trial Manga High? I'd be interested in hearing what your children thought of it.

I can see quite a few sites on your list that we have used as well.

Thanks for the links.

MangaHigh looks interesting since my daughter LOVES anime. This might inspire her to want to do her math. LOL

I have used many of the sites you have listed, and saw a few I am not familiar with. I will have to check them out.

One of our favorites is VocabularySpellingCity. We love the games. They even have handwriting worksheets, teacher videos, and some of the games can be printed as worksheets. The site is free, but they do offer a Premium Membership that I am considering since it's so cheap.

Thanks for sharing!

Joyfully,
Jackie

Hi Sue,

Yes, Manga High is good - a bit more fun than Studyladder, though Melanie is still happy with Studyladder. But, recently, they've been learning Maths mostly through hands-on activities. Bethany has learnt percentages, fractions and circumferences as she's needed them for cooking, sewing and shopping.

God bless:)

Hi Jackie,

I hope Manga High works well for you.

I've just had a quick look at VocabularySpellingCity - it looks really interesting! Our children like games and teacher videos so it might be a good fit for us. Thank you for the link.

It's so nice to be able to share!

God bless:)
