The Lobster Award!

I was so happy to be awarded The Lobster Award by Chareen, last week. This award was started by Victor as a way of thanking those kind people who stop to comment and offer encouragement for our blogging efforts. Victor says it
is an honor given to those Bloggers who visit you regularly, no matter how feeble, tiresome, long-winded and sleep making your posts may be, and who leave a word of encouragement or good cheer in your Comments Box.
I love that because my blog posts are feeble, tiresome, long-winded and sleep making! Anyone who sacrifices time in their day to respond to any of my drawn-out ramblings truly deserves an award of the highest honour.

I guess, for me, being able to share and swap thoughts with friends - from all over the world! - is the reason why I blog. I love getting into conversation with everyone I meet here and on their own blogs. And, I'm just so grateful, inspired and encouraged whenever someone takes the time to stop and respond to some little thought or idea that I've shared. I really appreciate your kindness.

At this point, I'm supposed to nominate my own lovely commenters and thank them by passing on the award. But, as most of my regular commenters seem to have received this award already, I'll just mention everyone who has so generously added to the conversation here, over the months - it sounds very cliche but I wouldn't still be blogging without your thoughtful feedback:-)

Thank you!

Congratulations on your award, Vicky!

This is my favourite award because it gives bloggers the chance to say thank you to all their faithful readers and commenters. It was a wonderful idea of Victor's.

I haven't clicked on the name 'Sue' but if it's me, thank you! I always love hopping over here and discussing things with you.

God bless!

Congratulations and thank you! I love coming and joining in with the conversation, though I'm afraid I don't often add anything meaningful.

I love this award, too, Sue. I'm always so happy when someone wants to talk. It makes the effort seem worthwhile.

And I love the conversations I have with you on our blogs. I'm so often inspired and enlightened by them:)

Congratulations on receiving the Lobster Award.

It has been my experience over the years never to leave live lobsters on a chair whilst preparing the cooking pot. Sitting down to read the recipe proved quite memorable.

Thank you for visiting my Blog and leaving a comment. I hope you and your readers download and enjoy my FREE E Books.

God bless.

Thank you for your kind warning, Victor. I shall endeavour to remind my lobster that the place for a good lobster is in the pot and not on the chair.

Hmm, those pincers look pretty sharp. Actually, I think I'm happy to stand whilst preparing my cooking pot...

Looking forward to reading your books, Victor!
God bless:)

Hi dear Vicky,

Thank you for including my name in your post. Your blog is one of my favorites -- I'm not really much of a blog commenter normally but you (and Sue on her blog!) always make me feel like I've come to visit with you when I comment : ).

Oh, Willa, thank you! I always learn so much from you - I spend lots of time pondering, after reading your writings.

Thank you for sharing, Willa - this is what I really love about blogging friendships:-)

I forgot to thank you for the lobster award! I'd like to post it on my blog, too, as Sue gave me one a while back. However, I'm unable to copy the lobster image!:( Oh, well...thanks for the thought!:)

Thanks for the mention, Vicky! I am definitely a commenter..even when I get around late to it. I know there are so many "lurkers", but I love the conversation and getting to know people "in real life - online". =)

You're a great commenter, Elisa! Yes - I love chatting and getting to know people 'in real life - online' too. It's so amazing to be able to make friends with someone on the other side of the world! :-)

Hi Grace,

I just found your comment in the Spam box. Let me know if you'd like me to email you the Lobster picture so that you can do a post, too.

God bless:-)
